ALLAN CONNOLLY

Alan has been a qualified optometrist for nearly 30 years, with extensive experience working for several well-known high-street opticians. While this provided a strong foundation, Allan wanted to create something different — a practice where patients receive truly personalised care and have access to a carefully curated range of high-quality frames.

This led to Allan the opening of the first Optique Vision practice in central Nottingham. Following its success, Allan went on to establish further practices in Derby, Southwell and Lincoln.

Opening the Collingham practice is something Allan is especially excited about, as it is part of the community he lives in, allowing him to provide truly local, personalised eye care.

Allan prides himself on using the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment to deliver the highest standards of eye care. Alongside this, he is committed to continuous professional development and has completed a number of enhanced training courses, including higher qualifications in glaucoma, medical retina and am currently studying toward independent prescribing.

Allan’s aim for Optique of Collingham as well as the other Optique practices is to ensure that, unlike large chains, we take the time to understand your individual needs, offering thorough eye examinations using the best technology, expert advice, and a carefully selected range of stylish frames and lenses to suit a range of budgets.
