Myopia usual presents itself at a young age. However, adults can develop the condition too. You are more likely to develop myopia if your parents also have myopia.
WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF MYOPIA?
The main symptoms that you or your child will experience with myopia is distance vision becoming blurry. Close up vision will still be fine and the degree to which the long distance is affected will vary depending on the person.
HOW IS MYOPIA TREATED
Myopia can be managed with non invasive treatments such as myopic spectacle lenses or contact lenses. The aim of these lenses is to slow the myopia progression.
